Latvian Festival
We loved these Latvian festivals. This one is at the Ethnographic Museum, not too far from our home. Here the boys got to shoot bow and arrows and play on a really fun playground. This is a festival they hold every year at the same place. They have artisans from all over Latvia coming to show and sell their work. They sell things made out of wood, honey things, clothes made from linen, scarves, baby knit hats and all sorts of things. They also sell yummy traditional Latvian food: shashlik and pototoes. We had a kids table made from one of the artisans here. It turned out really nice. We wanted to get something that would remind us of Latvia.
