Arizona 1

After Hawaii we flew straight to Arizona. Kelly brother's kids were at the Busby house also. We wanted the grandkids to be able to see each other and play together since it had been such a long time. Anika came with her 4 kids: Kayla, Luke, Darren and Charlotte. Our other sister-in-law Joey was not able to come. We are all getting together Christmas, can't wait. We still haven't met little Lilly. So the Busby house was pretty full, overflowing with little kids. They swam in the morning and the evening, too hot during the day. And just ran around going crazy the rest of the day. The were in heaven! Grandma and Grandpa have a ton of fun things to do and the kids were just so happy to see each other.

It was so nice to have a pool. The kids just loved swimming in it. Lincoln and Sawyer don't know how to swim yet, but they feel comfortable in arm floaty's and Lincoln likes to wear a life jacket. Anika's kids know how to swim and they were just like fish in the water, except for little Charlotte of course. Her kids were jumping off the diving board, going under the water, swimming everywhere. Darren, he is the same age as Sawyer, is really crazy. He had a life jacket on, and loved jumping off the diving board and going under the water for a long time. I kept getting scared he was not going to come up, but he would finally come up. That kid just likes being under the water. Lincoln and Sawyer do not like putting their heads under the water, hopefully next year they will get over that. Isabel on the other had is crazy. She loves the water, she is our little fish. She started jumping off the edge into grandpa's arms, but then after seeing all these big kids jumping off the diving board, she decided she needed to start jumping. So, she started jumping off into Kelly's arms. At first Kelly didn't have her go under the water, but then we tried it to see how she liked it. She was amazing! She loved it! She would scream at the kids if they were getting on the diving board ahead of her or behind her. She got really mad, it was her turn. Then she would say "Watch This"!!! or "Watch Babies!". She was so adorable. Poor Kelly got tired of treading water and would take her to the edge, but then she would get mad and run to the diving board again. So different than Lincoln and Sawyer. Lincoln actually one day after the kids were gone, just took off his life jacket and started to swim. So he now can swim, just not getting his face wet, doggy paddle. I'm so glad he can do that now. Next year we will get him in swim and hopefully he will get over his fear of putting his face in the water.

We all went to the beloved "Don Joses" for lunch one day. It is the Busby's favorite Mexican place in Arizona. Here are almost all the grandkids in their ASU shirts.

Playing games together.
