Welcome Baby Isabel Abigail Busby
She is finally here. Kelly flew in Sunday afternoon and I went into labor at 3am Tuesday morning. So Kelly came just in time. I had a Dr. appointment monday morning, but it didnt' look like she was going to come that soon, so she was going to schedule me to be induced on the 23rd of December. So I came home pretty down, not expecting anything soon. But she decided to come the next day. I went in at 4am and got an epidural around 5 before I had too much pain. I didn't get one with Lincoln and I was induced and that was just terrible. The pain was so aweful, I'm not sure why I was so dumb and decided not to get an epidural. With Sawyer the labor was so much easier since I was not induced, but I waited too long to get the epidural and it only worked for 30 min, and did not work when he came out as he ripped me 3 times, very very painful. So this time I decided I wanted a relaxed labor like I here so much about. They rest all day and then the doctor comes in and says, "your a 10, it's time to push" As they just woke up from a nap. I wanted that to happen this time, so I got an epidural as soon as possible and it was the best thing every. I didn' feel hardly a thing and she was born at 8:45 am. Everything progressed pretty quickly and smoothly. I did rest and nap and then the doctor said, your a 10 let's push. I didn't even scream! After it was over I almost felt I cheated. Can labor really feel like this? Can you be soooo relaxed when having a baby? I guess so. I'm just sad I didn't do this with Lincoln, who in there right mind would want to be induced and then have no epidural. I believe it is a certain Emily A's fault, she said I couldn't do it so I wanted to prove to her I could. Crazy girl. Anyway, We named our sweet baby girl Isabel Abigail Busby. I wanted to give her her older sisters name as a middle name. And we just loved the name Isabel. So here she is weighing 7lbs 10oz and 19 inches long.
