Keith and Anika's house in Pennsylvania

We drove to Kelly's brothers new house in Penn. It was a 6 hour drive, supposed to be 5, but we hit a detour and traffic and lunch. But it really wasn't so bad. We left late on Saturday morning, Sawyer had soccer at 9, so we wanted to wait till that was over, but he ended up not having soccer, it was a 3 day weekend, so they weren't holding soccer practice. But by the time they got back and we got packed it was already 11am. We finally got in the car and started heading out. It was a rough start, we were about 25 mins out when we realized we forgot Kelly's pills. He HAS to take them, he is on antibiotics and couldn't just not take them for 3 days, so we HAD to go back. So I turned around and drove back but I missed the exit, so it took a little longer to get home. So he ran in, got the medicine and some pillows for the kids and we were off again. Then I took the wrong turn and we had to turn around again. By that time it was almost noon and we were wondering why we were going, the kids we a little sick, I had a bad cough, we still had a 6 hour drive to take and it was lunch time. The movie we had downloaded on our IPAD was already almost over and we hadn't even gotten out of the district. We decided to keep on going, so I turned around again, did not miss the turn and Finally left Virginia. Man was that a pain. 6 hours later we were finally at Kelly's brothers house. The kids were so happy to get out of the car and run around with their cousins. It is so nice to actually be able to drive to family's house. We have never lived in a place where we can do that. Keith and Anika just moved there a couple of months ago, so it was perfect timing.
I am really glad that we kept going. They live in such a beautiful place, surrounded by farms and fields and cows.... Lincoln says they live in the country and wonders when we will ever live in the country. The kids just played and played and played. Isabel and Charlotte became great friends. Isabel even shared her doggy with her and Charlotte shared her blanket with Izzy. They were so cute together. We are going to meet them half way next time and go check out Hershey, Penn. We had a great time!!! On Monday morning we stopped off at an apple farm before heading out. We had planned on going to one on Saturday, but we didn't get in until 6pm. So we had a little time in the morning, so we headed out to a beautiful farm. The kids of course loved being outside running around crazy. They even got to see how they make their apple cider.
