My mom and brother come to visit part 1!

My Mom and Brother Ryan came to visit at the beginning of May. It was so much fun!!! I didn't think it was going to work out, it was pretty expensive and my grandparents weren't doing very well, so if my mom bought a ticket way in advance, we didn't know what the situation would be like. But, as luck would have it, we found a last minute deal, 600$ round trip from Salt Lake City to Latvia, 6 days before they arrived. It was like Christmas!!! We didn't even have to wait that long till they got here!

The first day, we let them relax, try and get over jet lag, then we walked around Old Town, Riga. I just love this place. It was little cold and windy, but still beautiful.

The next day we drove to Lithuania to visit the "Hill of Crosses". I just think this place is pretty amazing. It was destroyed so many times by the Soviets, but people kept coming back to place their crosses. Pretty amazing.

Then we took them to the cool Latvian forest. I just love this place, so many things made out of wood. We took a train to the witches area, I had never been to that area before.

Lincoln even got to ride on the witches broom stick.... She also gave us some potion to drink to make us strong.



Then to the dwarf place. Isabel really liked all these little men.
