Last stop Neuschwanstein Castle
Our last stop of our 2 week vacation was the Neuschwanstein Castle. This is the most perfect fairy tale castle. This is the castle Walt Disney based his Disney World castle on. It was quite a hike up to the castle. We brought 3 strollers with us on the trip. Lincoln is really lazy, he hates to walk, especially if someone is riding in the stroller. We couldn't bring our double, too big and I didn't want to chance it getting broken on the plane. So we had 3 strollers for all the kids. Lincoln is too big for a stroller, but we brought one for him since we would be walking around for 2 weeks and everyone would be happier if this kid was happy. So he rode in the stroller a ton. But this hike to the top of the Castle was long, and Lincoln is so heavy, so I made him walk half way. He was really not happy about it. Crying and complaining the whole time. It was the last day of the trip, so he was tired, but seriously, we really need to work on his walking skills. THe problem is I have this double BOB stroller and he can sit on the wheel of it, so he really doesn't have to walk. And it is nice to have all the kids safe in the stroller when crossing the street. So anyway, I made him walk and he was not happy. Grandpa Thomas was nice to buy him and LIncoln these wooden swords and shields to fight the dragons as they walked up the hill. Thanks grandpa, it helped. So here they are sword fighting, the actually do a pretty good job of just doing sword to sword. Everyone loved watching them!
We just loved this trip, it was sooo much fun and we were able to see so much. It was amazing that everyone stayed healthy, the kids were great travelers. Especially thanks to Grandma Busby's car entertainment. I'm so glad that we were able to do this. Ever since the trip Sawyer has been wanting to SKYPE Grandma and Grandpa all the time. They miss them so much. I'm so glad we have SKYPE!
