March 10, 2014 Sawyers Birthday!!! 6 Years OLD!!!

On March 10th, Sawyer turned 6 years old.  I can't believe he is getting so big.  I am writing this really late, it is already June, so the school year is over.  But I have to say Sawyer has had an amazing Kindergarten year.  He has learned so much.  His teacher Mrs. Hale is so amazing!  She has made him have such a great successful year.  He never complained about going to school.  He had such a hard time going to preschool last year in Beijing, I was really nervous about kindergarten, but he was ready and he did great.  Mrs. Hale taught him how to read and now he is a great reader, she helped him correct his speech, which was a great blessing.  Since we are in Chengdu, the school doesn't have anyone to help with speech therapy.  There was one lady I tried to get in contact with, but it never worked out, so Mrs. Hale worked with him and now he is able to pronounce all his sounds correctly!!!
