Kelly's Chinese Christmas Project

Kelly had to do a group presentation with his class about Christmas. Each group had a different holiday to present. His was Christmas. So he had one of his classmates come to the house dressed as Santa and we videoed him talking to the kids in Chinese, asking them what they wanted for Christmas. It was so much fun. He didn't get dressed till he was at our house, so the kids saw him in regular clothes, I think because they kids saw him normal, they were very comfortable with him. She even sat on his lap for a long time. The kids did great for the video. It was so cute. They did a good job saying what they wanted for Christmas in Chinese. Lincoln and Sawyer had to be reminded, but as soon as it was Izzy's turn, she say "WA WA" which means baby. She actually was saying the whole time during the video. It's pretty cute. And the other day at dinner Kelly was talking about Chinese and Izzy started saying "WA WA". Very cute. These are not great pictures, I should have used my flash, I'm just too lazy. And our apartment is way too dark.

Hi Busbys!
It is fun to read all your updates. It looks like you've been having a fun winter there in D.C. It makes me want to travel there again. I bet you're pretty excited to welcome a new baby girl this month. Congratulations!
