St. Patricks Day

St. Patricks Day is always a big hit at our house. Lincoln's favorite color was Green for a long time, but now he has decided he loves many different colors. But he still loves St. Patricks Day. In preschool his teacher was telling them about how the leprechauns come to their house during the night and make a mess looking for gold. They turn their milk green and turn the couch upside down. Sawyer was so funny, he kept saying over and over "they turn the couch upside down"! So that night, we made a trap, trying to catch the leprechauns and read a story about them trying to find gold. They next day they thought it was so funny that they turned our couch upside down and the trap didn't work. They found M&Ms in it instead. And the milk was green. We made green pancakes for breakfast and Lincoln and Sawyer got all dressed up in their green clothes. These funny holidays are so much funner when you have kids. Can you seriously imagine thinking these weird little red haired men are going to come in your house, mess it up looking for gold and turn your milk green. Very strange!
