Isabel 16 months

We just LOVE our Isabel. Here are a few updates on this little cutie. She is such a talker. She has her own little language, along with saying some words like: go, mama, more, duck, dog, fish, book, she says NO very well, soft, she makes many animal sounds, especially a scary dinosaur and lion sounds, she says something that resembles Amen after we pray. We sing this song: "Let us gather in a circle to kneel in family prayer", as soon as we start saying that, she runs into the boys room and puts her head in their mattress to start praying. It's so cute, she furrows her brow and does a very serious face. Lincoln wants to help her stay in this praying position for the whole prayer, so he came up with a great idea, to sing the song the whole time during the prayer to get here to stay that way. Brilliant! Luckily were able to talk him out of doing that. By the way, Lincoln says his brain is so big, it is bigger than a Giants brain. He is sure a smarty pants.
She loves to eat and every time we say it's time to eat, she runs to her high chair ready to sit and eat. That's how we know she is hungry, which seems to be all the time. The crazy thing is that she weighs the same she did when she was 10 months old. It is really strange, not sure why she hasn't gained weight. She is very active but so are most kids her age. She has dropped about 3 or 4 lines on her growth chart. So the doctors are concerned. But she seems perfectly healthy, she was just a chubby baby and now not so much. We need to feed her all we can this month and hopefully she will gain weight, or we will see a Childrens entomologist. I think she will be fine though. She went up slightly last month from just under 10 kilos, to 10.1 kilos. My mom is coming tonight, YAHAHAHAHA so she will help me get some meat on this girls bones.
Isabel is a book lover. She is always looking at books. She has a few favorite places to sit and look at books. One in the living room by a little book shelf for her. She has 2 seats, a little rocking chair and a blue baby chair. She switches off reading in those chairs. She also loves to go in the boys room. Behind their door they put a lot of big pillows and blankets, she is often found sitting behind their bedroom door. She also loves to read books in her room, she even goes in there with the lights out and will be looking at books in the dark. She loves to go behind the rocking chair. The boys made her a cute place there.

Isabel loves pushing things around the house, with Sawyer and Lincoln following her. She LOVES water, maybe that is why she doesn't gain weight. We have a water dispenser because we can't drink the water here, and she loves to get it for herself and make a mess. She loves walking around with Sawyers old bike helmet. I think she sees the boys with theirs and wants one too. It's pretty funny. She loves to give kisses. We had the lds missionaries over the other day and as they were leaving she puckered up for them and she was denied, poor girl. I guess rules are rules. lol.

Isabel loves to help with the laundry, she takes clothes out of the wash and puts them in again, over and over again. It’s hard to get her to stop, she does stop protesting once you let her push the button. She also LOVES taking a bath and once you say, Bath Time, Isabel runs down the hall to the door, usually followed and then passed by her 2 brothers. She loves to be chased by them, she is getting faster, it is so adorable. She also love to push things around and you can tell when she is getting tired. She can’t handle getting stuck, if she is not tired she will try and move around it, but if she is tired she will scream and cry.

That is our adorable little Isabel. Lincoln and Sawyer love to find girly things for her, they put bows in her hair and bring her girly things. And they love when she wears dresses, she is just so cute!!
