Izzy's birthday in Arizona
Isabel is 4
I can't believe this adorable little girl is already 4 years old. She has already needed to correct me when I tell people how old she is. When we had the Marines watch the kids I told them Izzy was 3, then she looked at me at said she was 4!!!!! She is very proud to be 4 and is always talking about how much she has grown! I am going to make a list of things Izzy likes:
1. Dogs, dogs and more dogs, especially the 3 Bolt dogs she has in the house. She is constantly telling me how she wants a REAL Dog and she wants that dog to sleep with her. Poor girl will have to make do with the 30 stuffed dogs we have in the house, maybe someday we will get a dog!
2. Izzy likes to sing, especially songs from her Bolt movie and she loves "The Eye of the Tiger" I think that is her favorite song and she loves to run and dance to it, but gets made if anyone tries to sing or dance to that song. She wants it to be all hers. She is also loving the soundtrack to the new movie "Frozen" I am loving it too. We listen to it all day and she sings the words, we especially like the song "Let it Go"
3. Besides dogs, Izzy really loves Horses and Tigers. Her grandpa Thomas gave her a horse stable for Christmas and she just loves to play with it.
4. Izzy plays really well with her siblings. While the boys are at school she plays great (not all the time, but a lot of the time) she plays great with Mabel. They love playing the doggie game. Izzy is the dog and Mabel cuddles her and pets her and calls to her. It is really cute. Izzy and Sawyer play really well together. They get along great, when they are not too tired and Lincoln sometimes feels left out. He is just getting older and sometimes needs older kids to play with.
5. Izzy loves her grandparents! She loves to be tickled!! She loves to dance, and be swung around. She loves to be called "Queen Isabelly" by her grandpa Thomas!
6. She hates to have her hair brushed! I get to brush her hair once every time we wash it. Lately she has been letting me put her hair in braids!!!! This a really big accomplishment. Her hair is getting really long and beautiful, but it really needs to be put back out of her face sometimes. She lets me do it when she gets out of the bath while she watches a show.
7. Izzy loves her friends. She love Bradley in Beijing and wishes we could talk to him. She has new friends here and is always wanting to bring them a treat or share with them. She is a good friend.
We sure love our Izzy and are so happy and grateful she is in our family!!! We are so blessed!!!
Izzy's Grandma and Grandpa Busby threw an awesome birthday for her. She had the longest birthday ever. She turned 4 in Beijing on Sunday the December 15th. Then we flew to America leaving Beijing at 2pm, we traveled all night and didn't arrive in Arizona till around 1pm, but it was still December 15th!!!! That sure was a long day. They were pretty tired, so we waited till the next day to celebrate. Kelly's parents threw her a DOG PARTY!!! It was so cute, we all had dog bowls to eat out of. They even found these hotdog dog things. So cute, but they didn't cut the hotdog like they were supposed to. But the kids didn't care. Izzy was in Heaven. Then she made a Dog House cake with Grandpa! It was so cute. Thanks Gail and John for making her birthday such a special day, not to mention the perfect weather in Arizona. We sure couldn't have had a outside birthday party if we were in Chengdu or Utah!!! Thanks guys!!!
