Arizona Part II

Gingerbread House making

We wanted to make gingerbread houses and before we even got to America, Sawyer and Lincoln had drawn what they wanted their houses to look like.  They were really excited.  We decided to try and make them from scratch.  Grandma and Grandpa did a great job helping the cut them out.  They had so much fun designing, rolling them out, cutting them, cooking them, building them and decorating them.  Lincoln had even put a Christmas tree inside his house.  We didn't find it until Gail had to take them apart and throw them away after we had left.  They turned out great!!!  Izzy's even had a dog house and a gingerbread dog on hers.

 Orange Trees

Winter is the best time to visit Arizona!!!  The Busby's have orange trees and their neighbors tree that hangs over their yard has yummy oranges.  So the kids had fun picking oranges and making orange juice!!  Yummy Yummy!!!

Tea Party

Gail went all out on a dog tea party she wanted to have with Izzy.  It was really cute.  They made little cupcakes with her cupcake maker.  Then printed out faces of Bolt so they could be in her cakes.  This made it really exciting for Izzy.  She even printed out Bolt Tea Party Invitations.  The funny thing is Lincoln took her literally on the time she had put on the invitation and he was upstairs with Mabel waiting for it to start.  He was on Time!!!  Really cute!  

Mabel really got into dressing up for the tea party!  Doesn't she look adorable!

Sorry Gail about the terrible light behind your hat, it look like you are an angel!!!  This is not quite what Gail had in mind, but Izzy wanted to join the Bolt Tea Party as a Dog!  That's my Izzy!!!

I think this is more what Gail had in mind for Izzy, but we are glad at least one of our girls is a girly girl!!  Very cute tea party picture with Grandma!
