Swimming

Lincoln started taking swimming with a great teacher Ms. Wang.  He has been doing such a great job.  We started with Sawyer and Lincoln taking together in July, but Sawyer didn't want to do it.  So Lincoln just had private lessons.  Sawyer and Izzy would usually go and play with Kelly.  Lincoln learned very quickly how to swim.  I was very impressed.  He was doing pretty good until December, he brought a book home from school about sea monsters and he became terrified of the deep end.  He wasn't progressing as much in the pool and never wanted to swim in the deep end.  Poor Lincoln has such and imagination and can sure freek himself out.  So we decided to give him a break from private lessons, and sign him up for after school swimming at MSB starting January.  He has 2 other friends in the class and seems to be liking it a lot.  We switched Lincoln with Sawyer and now Sawyer just loves his swim class.  He really didn't want to do it, but after the first class he was so proud of himself.  Ms. Wang new he was really nervous about it and so she is taking it really slow with him and he is just doing great.  The next week he was ready to go and told everyone he was going to swim class.  I am so proud of Sawyer for doing so much better in preschool and being ready to take swim lessons.
