Nabucco

Kelly and I went on a date to the opera. We got tickets from his co-workers for his birthday. This was the first real opera either of us had been to. We chose Nabucco. Really didn't know what to expect. This is a story from the Bible about Nebuchadnezzar and his daughters. It took place in Jerusalem when he destroyed the Temple of Solomon. I was really impressed. The story was interesting, the music was beautiful and it wasn't boring. And it didn't cost us anything thanks to his co-workers! The nice thing about the opera here is that it doesn't cost very much. Now that Isabel is older we will be going to the Latvian National Opera more often. I think I want to see Anna Karenina next, it's a Ballet, not an opera, I might have to drag Kelly kicking and screaming.
