We are Alive! and the Beach

I haven't posted in a while for many reasons, 1) I have too many pictures on my computer and need to figure out what to do with them, so I had to wait to upload my lasted 500 pics. 2) I haven't had much sleep, my nights are filled with getting kids to bed, Sawyer is taking forever to fall asleep, and Isabel is getting 2 teeth, she is not my so easy baby anymore, she is up till midnight and I am going crazy. We are working on fixing it though, Sawyer slept great last night and so did Isabel, so my nights are coming back. 3) I'm training for a half marathon in August and I am so tired. The last month before the half is always the worst, but I need to loose the baby fat, so have to do it.

So I've just been tired and slacking, but we have been doing so much lately that I need to update, so here it goes.

First of all, it is finally Summer here in Latvia. It is just so beautiful here. We have gone to the beach 3 times in the past week, once on saturday, then yesterday and today. It is so great! The beach is only 20 mins away, and it is a great beach. It's funny because in Latvia young kids just run around naked at the beach. So when Lincoln pulls down his pants to go pee in the ocean, it's no big deal. I try to tell him to just sit in the water and do it without anyone knowing, but he didn't want to pee in his swimsuit. Sawyer on the other hand had fun peeing in his swimsuit. I left his diaper off yesterday and just let him wear his swim trunks. I didn't think it would be a problem if he just peed in the sand, but I didn't think he was going to poop in his swim trunks. My mistake, as we were getting the kids ready to go, I started to take off his swim suit, then realized he had pooped. I dropped it and he stepped right in his poop. I found a trash can and put the poop in there and then proceeded to rinse out his swimsuit and him and my hands in the ocean. What else could I do? I learned my lesson, today at the beach I put a diaper on him and of course he didn't poop.

We sure love the beach and are so glad it is nice finally.
