Ventspils

Continuing on, so since we couldn't do the bug infested swamp walk, we decided to drive another 2 hours to a beautiful beach town in Ventspils. This is the wealthiest and cleanest cities in Latvia. It was worth it, even though we didn't get there till 2 pm. They have great playgrounds and the most beautiful beach and really clean. After the fun playgrounds and the beach, we went to the castle to eat at the restaurant. It was very yummy, the kids especially liked the candles lit on every table. We didn't get back till 11pm, but it wasn't so bad since the sun was finally setting as we pulled in.
