Preschool

Lincoln started preschool on Friday.  It is a Latvian preschool.  It tried to find a Russian one, but they were too far away, or full, so we decided to go here.  His friends Carter and Lola go here also.  They are from the Embassy also, so they have 3 Americans in a class of about 6 or 7. They basically play, get some Latvian influence and do some sort of craft.  I think this will be good for Lincoln.  He goes 3 days a week, from 9-2.  A long time to be away from my little boy. 

The preschool is run in this really old church.

oh, yay for all these posts!! i can't believe you guys are really there...and you're just so chill about the whole thing!! your pictures are amazing....ALMOST enough to make me want to come visit you :) i think i'll just wait till you come back to THIS time zone to see you, though :)

What a fun little preschool! We miss you guys around here. I bet Truman and Lincoln would have been in the same group.

What a great experience for him to have the American friends, but be inside a class filled with Latvian language and culture. Sounds like the best of both worlds!
