Happy Birthday Lincoln 7 years old
Happy 7th Birthday to Lincoln. I can not believe that he is 7 years old already. I am writing this a few months late, but he was 7 on December 27th!!! He is going into such a good boy. He is very considerate of other people, not always with his siblings, but that's normal. He is very smart, he is amazing me at how fast he is learning Chinese. I just love his bilingual school. He knows over 200 characters, he can write and read them. He is much more confident in his chinese speaking now. He often wants to come up with me when ordering food or buying tickets to something to help out. I should have him do that more often since I don't do a good job of it most of the time. He loves it when Kelly and I go on a date and he helps our Ayi/babysitter watch the kids. She is chinese, and only knows Chinese, but the kids all understand her. Lincoln is very good at telling her what he wants. He loves helping the kids be happy when we are away, and i think mostly he loves being able to play the Wii when we go out. He is a little obsessed with the Wii!!! Lincoln is reading english really well now and is really really enjoying it. He loves reading chapter books all by himself now. I just love it that he can pick up a book and read it now.
Kelly's parents were here for his birthday, we had a cake with some fun candles. Then we all went to the biggest ball pit I have ever seen. They have filled huge swimming pool all with balls for kids to jump in. The love it!
