Stuck at Home
It's been a very long week. On top of trying to get over jet lag, we have all been sick except for Kelly. First Lincoln was sick, now Sawyer and Isabel. We have been pretty miserable. I have been outside this apartment a total of 3 times in the past 8 days. Once to go to the grocery store, once to take the boys outside to the park to see the snowmen, before they got sick, and once to borrow some humidifirs from some friends. Those 3 times I have been out were great. I really love living here. Walking around in the snow reminds me of when I was a missionary in Novosibirsk, Russia. I just love it. The snow makes everything look so beautiful. If it wasn't so cold things would be perfect. It has been really difficult with 3 kids and only one pair of hands while Kelly is at work. We have watched way too much TV for one thing since the kids are sick. Lincoln is much better now so he is going really stir crazy, but Izzy and Sawyer are still sick so we can't go outside. Sawyer is very needy, he always wants me to hold him and get's mad when I need to feed Izzy and hold her. He is finally sleeping through the night though. Jet lad is really not fun to go through with a 2 year old. He was way too happy at 2 am every morning, but we are all finally sleeping through the night and I think Sawyer is getting better and so is Izzy. We had a house call from a pediatrician Friday night. It was so nice not to have to take the kids out in the snow. Everyone was fine, just colds, but it was nice to have her come and confirm that no one was really sick. Next week we will hopefully get out. We got our shipment with my stroller attachment for the car seat so I can take Izzy with us. Lincoln really needs to go to preschool and do something outside the house. My sister and sister-in-law gave us this awesome video camera for Christmas. We can now finally post video. So here are some videos of our house and outside our apartment. And here are some pictures of the one time I went outside with the boys. It was a beautiful day. I guess the sun doesn't shine very often in Latvia in the winter, but last week the sun was out a lot.
