Mothers Day!
I had such a wonderful Mothers Day today. I feel so lucky to have such a wonderful family. Kelly and the boys got up and made me breakfast in bed, yummy waffles topped with whipped cream and strawberries. Very delicious. Then I got some beautiful flowers and yummy chocolates and some smelly bath soap. Everything was just perfect. Except for the fact that in a few hours I had to speak in church in Russian. I was really nervous, but when I got up to speak it wasn't so bad. Luckily there are too many people in our little branch, we had about 30-40 people. One of the cute sisters who teach the kids put a chair next to the pulpit for Sawyer because she knew he would want to be with me since he is such a mama's boy. So as I got up to speak Sawyer and Lincoln followed me up there. It was really cute, the people in the branch just adore the kids, especially since we really have the only ones at church. So I gave my talk and it was a little hard to concentrate on what I was speaking about and where I was since it was in Russian and these kids were with me. I spoke on mothers and I guess I needed the boys to be there as a test to see how patient I was going to be with them. They were actually very good. Lincoln held up a picture for me. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Everyone loved it, I think the kids added to it. I am sure glad we live here, I just love going to this Russian branch, the people are so loving and friendly. I'm so grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. You can feel so much love and peace where ever you go in the world when you go to church.
