Spring weather!
It has been a while since I have blogged. Not too much exciting going on around here except that all the snow has melted finally. It is so much lighter at night also. It doesn't get dark until 9pm. And the sun gets up way too early, around 6am. I tried running outside, but hurt my hip really bad. I have an appointment tomorrow and hope to figure out what's wrong and get it fixed fast so I can start running again. I'm so tired right now, staying up way too late and not sleeping so well. We met 2 british guys at church on Sunday. They were stuck in Latvia because of the Volcano, so we invited them to stay with us. Kelly says I'm too trusting, and I think that's true, but luckily they were really nice guys. They even did my dishes while they were here. They stayed 2 nights and then took a bus all the way to London, it was supposed to take 36 hours. Can you believe that?
Isabel is 4 months old now and so adorable. She is around 14 lbs 8 oz. Everyone else is doing great. Trying to get over the spring colds we all have. Here are some pictures of the places we went a couple of weeks ago.
We drove a couple hours toward Lithuanian and went to the Rundale Palace, this palace was designed by the same person who designed the Winter Palace in St. Petersburg. It was really beautiful, but I'm sure it will be much better when the flowers bloom and the grass grows. This palace is open every day of the year and it is really nice to go with kids because you can walk through it by yourself and you don't need a tour guide. The kids really liked it. I even danced with the boys in the ball room. There were many green rooms and blue room for Sawyer and Lincoln to pretend it was their rooms. And some pink rooms for Isabel. It was really fun. Then we drove to Tervete, to the Nature Park there. This was really cool. It is a huge park/forest and they have built cute little house and villages for little Dwarves. They even had a cute map to find all the Dwarf houses. So cute. The place is huge and we only made it to one section. This forest is the home of Spriditis "Tom Thumb", in the fairy tale by Anna Brigadere. We will have to go back a lot, it is about an hour away.
