Ice Skating with Lincoln

I wanted to post these pictures of Lincoln and I going ice skating last week. It was really hard. i haven't been ice skating in a while, but I think the skates and the rink were really bad. Especially trying not to fall with Lincoln. But it was still fun, we didn't last very long though. We only went 2 times around the rink. Maybe it will help if we got our own skates. We decided to get out and walk around last Saturday. It was getting warmer and the snow was melting. My pictures aren't very nice since everything looked so yucky from the melting snow. I was feeling bad because I didn't take many pictures of the pretty snow. Luckily, as you see from my previous post, we got tons more snow so I have many more chances to take pictures of it. I don't think it will go away. You had to be really careful walking around buildings because large sheets of ice were falling off the buildings. They tried to get the snow and ice off the roofs, but didn't get to all of them and it gets pretty dangerous. Some people have been badly hurt and cars have been dented from the falling ice. Here is a picture of one on the roof of Lincoln's preschool. They try to rope off the area. Don't worry the kids don't play by it, but it is pretty scary. One sheet of ice fell right in front of my friend and her little girl in a stroller. Luckily they didn't get hit by it, but it could have sent them to the hospital. So I always look up while I'm walking, especially by buildings.

Also, this is what I look like everyday walking around here. I get a ton of looks from everyone. It is hard to miss us.
