Happy Halloween!!!
Here is Lincoln's second costume. We were going to make a penguin costume, but I found this one 70% off at Toys R Us, so I figured it would be much easier and cheaper to just buy it. I was surprised that he wore it. Our neighborhood was so much fun to trick or treat in. Our street was decorated so much. Or neighood had a fog machine on. Lincoln loved it. He really got into trick or treating. He told everyone "trick or treat" after he knocked on the door. I didn't realize his hands could not come out of the fins, so he didnt' have hands free, but he was able to work around it. When people held out their candy bowels, Lincoln was able to grab handfuls of candy through the costume. It was so funny. He was scared at some of the houses, but since there was candy at the top of the stairs he worked through his fears. Our neighborhood was so much fun, there were so many kids out. It is so fun and very efficient going door to door in townhouses. We hadn't had a Halloween like this since we were kids ourselves. I'm so glad we moved here.
Here is the pumpking we carved. Daddy kind of made it a little scary so I had to carve a second pumpkin that was more friendly. Lincoln helped by painting on the pumpking. He did a great job.
Lincoln was so lucky this year, he got to wear two costumes. We had a ward trunk or treat and I didn't have his costume ready so we borrowed a friends fireman costume. He was an adorable fireman. It's kind of funny because this is the second year we have gone to our wards trunk or treat and it is the second year it has rained on us, so everyone just lines up in the gym and the kids go around the room collecting candy. Lincoln got the hang of it pretty fast. I loved getting the candy.
